How accurate is the data?

Positions come straight from aircraft transponders and are typically only a few seconds old. Coverage depends on nearby ground receivers, so remote areas and very low-altitude aircraft may occasionally be missed.

Does AeroGaze track military aircraft?

Only aircraft that broadcast a public ADS-B signal appear. Many military and sensitive flights either don't transmit or are filtered from public feeds, so they generally won't show up.

Which plane is flying over my house?

Open the AeroGaze tracker and grant location access. The app uses your device's GPS to find your coordinates and instantly shows the nearest aircraft transmitting an ADS-B signal above you — including its flight number, airline, route, altitude and speed.

What information does AeroGaze show?

For each aircraft overhead, AeroGaze shows the flight number, airline name and logo, origin and destination airports, aircraft type (e.g. Boeing 737-800), current altitude, ground speed, and heading. All data updates every 30 seconds from live ADS-B feeds.

Does AeroGaze work on my phone?

Yes — AeroGaze is a web app that works in any modern mobile browser, no download required. Just open aerogaze.com, tap the tracker, and allow location access.

Can I track a specific flight number?

AeroGaze shows the nearest aircraft to your location rather than letting you search by flight number. If the flight you're curious about is overhead, it will appear automatically. For tracking a specific flight across its full route, a dedicated flight-tracking service is a better fit.

Do I need an account?

No. AeroGaze is completely free and requires no sign-up, login or subscription. Just open the tracker and go.

Where does the flight data come from?

Live positions come from the airplanes.live ADS-B network, and route and airline details are enriched from open aviation databases. No proprietary or paid feed is required.

Is my location stored?

No. Your coordinates are used momentarily to find the nearest aircraft and are never saved to our servers or shared. See our Privacy Policy for details.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using AeroGaze ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

AeroGaze provides real-time aircraft identification using publicly available ADS-B transponder data. The Service shows information including flight numbers, aircraft types, and route information for aircraft near your reported location.

3. Free, Ad-Supported Service

AeroGaze is provided free of charge and is supported by advertising. We display third-party advertisements (including Google AdSense) within the Service. No account, registration, or payment is required to use the tracker.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use AeroGaze for lawful purposes only. You may not use the Service to track individuals, harass others, or for any purpose prohibited by applicable law. ADS-B data displayed is publicly broadcast and does not constitute private surveillance.

Age Requirement. You must be at least 13 years old to use AeroGaze. By using this Service, you confirm that you meet this age requirement. If you are under 18, you confirm that you have your parent's or guardian's permission to use the Service.

5. Data Accuracy

Aircraft data is sourced from community-operated ADS-B receiver networks and third-party APIs. AeroGaze does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any aircraft information. Do not use this Service for navigation or safety-critical decisions.

6. Intellectual Property

The AeroGaze name, branding, and application code are proprietary. Aircraft data is provided by third-party sources under their respective licences.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that aircraft data will be current or accurate.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, AeroGaze shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability for any direct damages arising out of or related to your use of the Service shall not exceed £100.

9. Availability

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service (in whole or in part) at any time without notice. Because no account is required, you can stop using the Service at any time simply by closing it.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will indicate material changes by updating the "Effective Date" at the top of this page and, where practicable, providing notice on the Service. Your continued use of AeroGaze after the updated Effective Date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
