Effective date: 7 July 2026 · v1.1
AeroGaze ("we", "us", "our") operates the AeroGaze aircraft tracking service available at aerogaze.com. This policy describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal data.
AeroGaze is operated by High Peak Pro Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 11682424). Registered office: Bartle House, 9 Oxford Court, Manchester, Greater Manchester, England, M2 3WQ.
The data controller for your personal data is High Peak Pro Ltd (details above). For data protection enquiries, contact us at privacy@aerogaze.com.
AeroGaze does not require an account, and we do not collect names, email addresses, or payment details. We process:
• Location data: your device's GPS coordinates, used only in-session to identify nearby aircraft. We do not store your location history.
• Usage data: standard server logs (IP address, request timestamps) for security and debugging.
• Advertising data: our advertising partner (Google) may set cookies and collect device/usage identifiers to serve and measure ads. See "Cookies & Advertising" below.
We process your personal data on the following legal bases under UK GDPR:
• Location data — Legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f)): processing is necessary to provide the core service you requested, i.e. identifying aircraft near your location.
• Server logs (IP address, user agent, timestamps) — Legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f)): necessary for security monitoring, abuse prevention, and debugging.
• Advertising cookies and related data — Consent (Article 6(1)(a)): collected only after you provide consent via our cookie consent banner.
We use your data to:
• Provide and improve the AeroGaze service
• Display and measure advertising
• Comply with legal obligations
AeroGaze uses the following third-party processors:
• Google AdSense — advertising (google.com)
• adsb.lol — real-time ADS-B aircraft data
• adsbdb.com — flight route and airline data
Each processor operates under their own privacy policy and data processing agreements.
Your device location is requested only when you open the tracker and is used solely to query nearby aircraft. Location data is transmitted to our API server for each query and is not stored in our database or logs.
Some of our third-party service providers (including Google, for advertising and analytics) may process your data outside the United Kingdom. Where personal data is transferred internationally, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place, such as Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) or the UK International Data Transfer Agreement (IDTA). Google's data processing terms include these safeguards. For more information, see Google's Privacy Policy at policies.google.com/privacy.
We do not maintain user accounts, so we retain no personal profile data. Server logs are kept only for a short period for security and debugging. Location data is never stored.
Under applicable data protection law (including UK GDPR), you have the right to:
• Access your personal data
• Correct inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data
• Object to processing
• Data portability
To exercise these rights, contact us at privacy@aerogaze.com.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the UK's supervisory authority, the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO). You can contact the ICO at ico.org.uk or by phone on 0303 123 1113.
AeroGaze displays ads via Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads based on your visits to this and other sites.
If you are in the UK or European Economic Area (EEA), a consent banner (Google's certified consent management platform) appears before any ads are loaded, letting you accept or reject the use of cookies and data for advertising. We do not request ads until you have made a choice. You can change your consent choices at any time by reopening the banner via the "Privacy & cookie settings" / "Manage options" control it provides, or by clearing this site's cookies so the banner is shown again on your next visit.
You can also manage ad personalisation via Google's Ads Settings (adssettings.google.com) and learn more at policies.google.com/technologies/ads.
First-party cookies: AeroGaze itself does not set any first-party cookies. Your consent preference is stored and managed by Google's certified consent management platform using Google-managed cookies (such as FCCDCF and FCNEC). These cookies are cleared when you clear cookies for this site. If we introduce our own first-party cookies in future, this section will be updated accordingly.
We implement industry-standard security measures including HTTPS encryption and limited data retention. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.
AeroGaze is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
In certain European Economic Area countries, the age of digital consent may be higher (up to 16). If you are located in such a country and are under the applicable age of digital consent, please do not use the Service without parental or guardian consent.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Effective Date" at the top of this page and, where practicable, providing notice on the Service. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
